McAMS Racing Yamaha have unveiled a stunning new livery ahead of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship pre-season test at Navarra.

White is the main colour this year, and is again accompanied by red and blue. McAMS take centre stage as the title sponsor, however Mar-Train is also in a more prominent position this year. The team was previously known as Mar-Train Racing, and is run by Tim and Sonya Martin.

Danny Kent remains as the team’s sole rider after a solid campaign last year onboard the Yamaha R1. Kent finished fourth overall after celebrating a maiden victory, plus eight further podiums.

“I love the new look for 2025 and feel excited to get back aboard the Yamaha R1,” Kent said. “The team have worked really hard throughout the winter break, and I’ve been working hard on my own preparation too.

The front fairing has been updated on the McAMS Racing Yamaha R1.

“I’ve had a long time to reflect on 2024 and we know what areas we need to improve on. I can’t wait to get out to Spain to see the team and begin our testing plan.”

This year’s R1 features a new aerodynamic package and include wings for the first time in BSB following their introduction in the World Superbike Championship last September at Cremona. The team have also been working in-house to further develop their BSB-spec machine.

“It’s been a long winter, but the wait is nearly over, McAMS Racing Technical Director and Kent’s Crew Chief, Chris Anderson said. “We’ve been flat out in the workshop, putting in the hours to build two fresh bikes for testing, and I can’t wait to see them roll down pitlane with Danny onboard.

“The 2025 Yamaha R1 livery looks absolutely mint, seeing it out on track is going to be a great feeling. We’ve got a solid game plan for the first official test, and the whole team is itching to get stuck in, make progress, and be ready to push when the lights go out at the opening round.”

Mar-Train is visible on the McAMS Racing Yamaha's wings.

2025 is Mar-Train’s third season in the Superbike class, and their second in partnership with McAMS. Kent’s podiums and victory last year were also the team’s first after previously securing a best result of fourth with Jack Kennedy in 2023.

“The team and I are excited to return to the track at Navarra,” Tim Martin said. “It’s been a long winter break and we’re all itching to get back to work. We had a strong end to 2024, hopefully we can carry that momentum towards the start of the year and beyond. As I’m sure you’d agree, the 2025 livery is a real stand-out. We can’t wait to see it out on track.”

The team are currently in Navarra ahead of the official two-day test (April 6-7). This is followed by two days at Donington Park on April 18-19, and two days at Oulton Park on April 23-24.

The 2025 season begins at Oulton Park on May 3-5.
