The 2023 FHO Racing livery has been unveiled ahead of the official Bennetts British Superbike Championship pre-season test at Silverstone.

FHO’s traditional turquoise, gold and white with carbon fibre design has been edited slightly for this year’s campaign, with much more white appearing on the front fairing. There’s less gold and white on the side of the bike, whilst the FHO Racing logo has increased in size. Purple colouring can also be found on the wings.

The M Motorsport branding remains at the bottom of the fairing, with FHO Racing now the official BMW representative in the BSB paddock. FHO remains the German manufacturer’s official road racing team as well.

This year Peter Hickman is joined at the team by two-time BSB Champion Josh Brookes, who spent time in Australia over the winter getting to grips with the M1000 RR. Brookes won races in the St George Summer Series Championship onboard a Superstock-spec bike.

Meanwhile, Hickman enters the new campaign having ended 2022 with one victory, two seconds and a third during the Showdown races.

“I’m excited for the 2023 season and so honoured to be the official factory supported BMW Motorrad UK team in the British Championship, as well as on the roads,” Team Principal, Faye Ho said. “For what is such a young team this is a huge accomplishment and shows the hard work and dedication everyone has put in over our short competitive period.

“From the guys on the track, to those working behind the scenes, and everything I do with the sport including the platform I provide for young female racers, it’s fantastic we’ve been rewarded with this from BMW Motorrad UK.

“This year we retain Peter [Hickman], and he’s joined by Josh [Brookes], who has only really had a few days with the team, but it was clear over the weekend at the Donington Park test he’s already fitted in well, and you can see his determination to succeed this year.”

Hickman and Brookes have two more days of pre-season testing remaining at Silverstone this week (March 28-29), whilst the opening round of the 2023 season takes place at the Northamptonshire circuit on April 7-9.

FHO Racing will also enter the inaugural BMW F 900 R Cup with Richard Cooper and Kate Walker, whilst the team also has a strong presence in the Junior Supersport class with Holly Harris, Jamie Hanks-Elliott, Scarlett Robinson and Denise Dal Zotto.
