BSB: Luke Mossey and DB Race Team part company ahead of 2021 season

Luke Mossey has parted company with the DB Race Team ahead of the 2021 Bennetts British Superbike season.

Mossey had only signed for Dave Tyson’s team, which ran under the Bike Devil banner in 2020, in December after spending the last two BSB seasons with Rich Energy OMG Racing BMW.

In doing so Mossey was set to reunite with Kawasaki, the manufacturer which he enjoyed his best BSB campaigns with. Between 2016 and 2018 Mossey secured two wins, seven further podiums and a Showdown spot for Kawasaki.

In 2021 Mossey would have raced the new ZX-10RR and worked alongside crew chief Pete Jennings. However, Mossey is now pursuing an alternative ride with an existing team in the hope of being on the 2021 grid.

Meanwhile, the DB Race Team still aspire to run in the Superbike class and are continuing to work on several commercial partnership programmes in preparation for the season. The team also remains committed in the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship class with Jack Kennedy.
