BSB: Free entry at official Donington test

The Bennetts British Superbike Championship will roll in to Donington Park tomorrow for the official pre-season test before the season gets underway at the Leicestershire circuit next week.

Riders and teams will be hoping that remnants of the week’s poor weather will have gone in time for track action starting at 09:05, with the whole paddock on track for the first time together since Brands Hatch last year.

Winter testing has been hit and miss for most BSB teams given the poor weather conditions that have battered Europe in recent weeks, the extra track time could prove valuable ahead of next week’s first round.

The test also marks the first-time riders will go against the clock in 2018 with official timing running across the day.

The event also acts as the official media launch of the series, with fans invited to join proceedings with free entry on the gate.
