BSB: Yamaha to celebrate 20 years of R1 at Brands BSB

Yamaha UK will celebrate the 20^th anniversary milestone of the YZF-R1 on the weekend of the Bennetts British Superbikes Brands Hatch round (20/21/22 July).

The weekend will feature various appearances from past and present celebrities to appeal to all generations and will have an eye-catching display of many R1 race and road machines for you to admire, including Valentino Rossi’s 2018 M1 MotoGP bike. Tommy Hill, Niall Mackenzie and Steve Plater are all confirmed as attending.

The McAMS Yamaha team of 2015 champion Josh Brookes and ex Moto2 rider Tarran Mackenzie will also line up on the British Superbike grid with special 20^th anniversary livery to mark the occasion.

Unfortunately, special R1 owner tickets are no longer available, but general ticket holders can still watch the parade lap and visit the on-site Yamaha area featuring displays of iconic bikes, past and present.
