VIDEO: On-board for Luke Mossey's FP3 crash

This is the moment Luke Mossey’s 2017 MCE British Superbike championship challenge took a knock as he was injured in a heavy crash in this morning’s free practice session. 

The JG Speedfit Kawasaki rider clipped the grass on the exit of the final turn, throwing him from his ZX-10RR, which he’d then become tangled with as they flew down the start finish straight and came down heavily near pit lane exit. 

He was taken to hospital for further assessment on a suspected lower back injury.
