BSB: Hill puts Hopkins' bike up for sale
Ever fancied owning an MCE British Superbike Championship winning bike? Team owner Tommy Hill has put John Hopkins’ 2016 ePayMe Yamaha YZF-R1 up for sale, which was initially the bike used by Josh Brookes to power Milwaukee Yamaha to the 2015 British title.
The Tommy Hill Motorsport ePayMe team endured a tough campaign this year despite flashes of pace from both John Hopkins and Broc Parkes, leaving Hill fighting to be on the grid for the 2017 season after the withdrawal of title sponsor ePayMe.
Determined to see his team compete next year, Hill is still forging ahead with plans for the season ahead.
The team’s ad reads: “If you want to own the a championship winning superbike, now here’s your chance.
“This is John Hopkins official ePayMe Yamaha R1 Superbike from this season and ex Josh Brookes Milwaukee Yamaha SBK.
Built with Official Yamaha Racing parts, factory Ohlins suspension, Factory wiring looms and 2D carbon fibre loom boxes.
