BSB: Strong test for Honda at Cadwell

1 of 1

Honda Racing’s trio of MCE British Superbike riders enjoyed a positive test at Cadwell Park last week in preparation for the eighth round of the 2016 season.

Jason O’Halloran, Dan Linfoot and Jenny Tinmouth were all out on track at the Lincolnshire circuit with just a month to go until the BSB contenders hit the mountain for real later this month.

The test comes as the Louth-based squad have shot into title contention after an impressive few rounds, with four podiums for Dan Linfoot and two podiums, including that race one victory at Snetterton, for team-mate Jason O’Halloran with the pair now lying fifth and third in the title chase.

“The test was really good and I was really pleased to get some laps at Cadwell, as last year it wasn’t a strong round for us,” said Linfoot. “12 months later and with our recent form, we are in a different position with the CBR and also my riding. I feel much more confident looking ahead to the Cadwell round, but first we have Brands Hatch this weekend!”

O’Halloran added: “It was so good to ride at Cadwell again as the last time I was there was August 2014! We worked through some ideas with our setting and finished up with a really good feeling on the Fireblade.”

Honda’s trio were joined on track at the two-day test by Be Wiser Ducati and Bennetts Suzuki.
