Jessopp back to BSB on RidersMotorcycles.com BMW

Martin Jessopp will be back in the MCE British Superbike championship in 2015, on the RidersMotorcycles.com BMW. Jessopp, who had a disappointing season in 2014 after injury at the Isle of Man TT, is looking to make his mark on the top ten of the series as he aims to regain his form.

With his TT crash leaving him out of competition for a number of rounds in the middle of the season, he was left out of contention for much of the year. However, the Yeovil rider managed to finish the season strongly, coming back to a strong weekend at Assen towards the end of the year.

Jessopp said: “I can’t wait to get started – this is our third year with the BMW and everyone knows it’s a proven package in the championship. Last year we were building up at the start of the season and then I got injured at the TT, which meant I missed some rounds and was recovering.

“I think that once we get testing underway we can build on the development we have done over the past two seasons to come back stronger. We have some improvements lined up to keep us moving forward so we can push further up the field. We have done it before and there is no reason why we can’t do it again. It won’t be easy but we will be pushing hard to make it happen.”
