Gallery: Yamaha R1 appears in race spec

After months of speculation since it first appeared at the EICMA show in November, Yamaha have finally unveiled the race version of their new R1 machine.

Unveiling not only the Milwaukee Yamaha MCE British Superbike but also their development bike, Endurance World Championship teams Monster Yamaha Austria and GMT94, and the German IDM Superbike machine.

The track-only R1M model also made an appearance, in the form of the European Superstock 1000 machine that will be campaigned by Brit Kev Coghlan.
