The MotoDex Performance BMW team will return to the MCE British Superbike Championship in 2015 with a decidedly international feeling. The originally German team will have a Dane and an Australian onboard in the form of Robbin Harms and Dave Johnston.

With a pair of new BMWs inspired by the new electric BMW i8 supercar, the performance parts supplier ran by team boss Tony Dexter says he’s confident his new duo can achieve good things.

“With backing from Four Anjels, Trudie Stait Solutions Ltd, Linxcel and HEL Performance, product support from Rock Oil, HM Quickshifter and GBRacing and with outstanding technical backup from Alpha Racing and Hawk Racing the whole team is eagerly awaiting the start of the new season. Robbin and Dave bring a vast amount of experience and knowledge with them and we are delighted to have two riders of their calibre for 2015 and beyond.”

Former World Superbike star Harms added: “I am really thrilled about how 2015 is turning out to be. Tony Dexter has worked hard to make it all happen and I am looking forward to working with him and his team. Now it’s all about killing time and wait for the opening rounds.”

Meanwhile, David Johnson, who had a successful year in the National Superstock 1000 championship in 2014, concluded:  “I’m mega excited to be back in the premier class and getting to grips with the MotoDex Performance First BMW! It’s a new team with experienced guys within the team with some trusted guys that I bring with me. With Robbin as my teammate it will be great! He’s an experienced rider and we will push each other to get results. My last season in BSB was 2010 so I can’t wait to get started! It’s going to be awesome!”
