BSB Brands Hatch: Shakey claims third pole of season

Shane Byrne claimed his third pole position of the season at Brands Hatch on Saturday, edging out season long rival Alex Lowes. The Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki rider went top of the time sheets with just a couple of minutes remaining and will be joined on the front row by Lowes, Josh Brookes and Ryuichi Kiyonari.
 
Under cloudy skies, James Ellison was pushed back onto the second row where he’ll be joined by James Westmoreland, Chris Walker and PJ Jacobsen, the American rider getting back on track after problems earlier in the day. Dan Linfoot making his return to the track where he broke his pelvis earlier in the season took ninth ahead of Michael Rutter.
