Silverstone BSB: Lowes sets pole

WFR Honda rider Alex Lowes will start tomorrow’s first BSB race from pole position after seeing off competition from reigning champion Tommy Hill in the final qualifying session.

Current championship leader Josh Brookes starts from the outside of the front row in fourth, with Kawasaki rider Shane Byrne heading the second row in fifth.

The top five slots on the grid are all occupied by title showdown contenders, with Chris Walker qualifying sixth.
