Thruxton BSB: Tommy Hill takes pole

Reigning BSB champion Tommy Hill will start from pole tomorrow after setting the fstest time during a drying qualifying session.

The first qualifying session – held in wet conditions – was extended to 25 minutes, with Luca Scassa and Nori Haga leading the way at the chequered flag.

Title hopefuls Shane Byrne, Michael Laverty and Nori Haga all failed to make it passed the second qualifying session and onto the first two rows.

Padgetts Racing’s Ian Lowry will start tomorrow’s first race from second spot on the grid, with wet weather specialist Michael Rutter in third.
