Jones back in action at Knockhill

Luke Jones ended a day of testing at Oulton Park in Cheshire in a positive mood today (Wednesday), as he prepares to return to the MCE Insurance backed BSB Championship at Knockhill this weekend.

After five weeks of convalescing from his operation to cure arm pump, Jones was itching to get out on his PR Racing Yamaha R1 superbike and put in some much needed track time.

After a gentle session in the morning around the 1.6 mile Cheshire circuit, Jones was happy with the wrist and by the end of the afternoon, the 21-year old was firing on all cylinders. 

He said: “The last couple of weeks since the operation has been hard, especially missing last weekend at Mallory, but after today, I feel it has all been worth it. I feel much better and can’t wait for Knockhill. I would like to thank everyone for their good luck messages and patience.”
