Linfoot is Hodgson's Motorpoint team-mate

Dan Linfoot will be Neil Hodgson’s team-mate in next year’s Motorpoint Yamaha team, leaving the team’s 2009 rider Chris Walker and Graeme Gowland both looking for pastures new.

Linfoot was bowled over by the thought of lining up alongside Hodgson. He said: “I said last year it was cool to be in the same team as Chris Walker now here I am in the same team as a WSB champion!

Linfoot started this season on the team’s supersport R6 – run initially in NW200 colours and later in Node 4 livery – but after breaking his foot at Snetterton, and his title chances evaporated, he was given a chance on the team’s Node 4 superbike late in the year.
