BSB: Easton disappointed not to take home win

Stuart Easton appeared disappointed following race one at Knockhill despite his podium finish.

The Hydrex Honda rider would love to win his first BSB race at his home circuit. He was unable to give Leon Camier his full attention due to the hard charging Josh Brookes keeping him occupied, then the Safety Car came out and negated all the good work he had done.

Easton explained: “I had 1.4secs on Josh and then the Safety Car came out. I wasn’t challenging Leon as I was defending myself from Josh. I didn’t want to get passed as it is hard to get back again round here. I don’t think I’ll be making any changes to my bike between races.”
