Sylvain Guintoli to sign for Rizla Suzuki

French MotoGP rider Sylvain Guintoli will race in BSB next season with Rizla Suzuki.

The French man, who has recently been ditched by his Alice Ducati team in MotoGP, will take two years of MotoGP experience to the Rizla team for 2009.

And it’s all part of the 26-year old British resident’s master plan to make a step back up to the top class.

Guintoli told MCN: I am very interested in the project because I want to find somewhere I can win races and to be in a team very motivated to work with me.

“I need to find somewhere I can build new links and step back to step forward.”
