British Superbikes team up with BKS to improve rider safety

Manufacturer BKS has teamed up with the British Superbike Championship to improve rider safety.

Throughout the 2008 championship the Northamptonshire-based company will be sent all crash-damaged leathers for assessment.

The results and recommendations found by BKS will then be used to help improve the quality of BKS’s products. This information will also be made public to improve safety and the quality of racing suits.

BKS became part of the Frank Thomas Group in January and MotoGP rider James Toseland will be wearing their gear this season.
