British Superbikes: No World Superbike pressure for Airwaves Ducati

1 of 1

After a productive three days testing in Spain, Airwaves Ducati team boss Colin Wright says the team is feeling no pressure from Ducati’s performances on the World Superbike stage.

Even though both the Xerox and Sterilgada teams ran strongly at the opening round of World Superbikes in Qatar, Wright says the team is feeling no pressure to perform and that they have their own job to do.

“We’ve been doing this a long time,” said Wright.

“We’re three-times British Champions, we know what the job is and our own track record is what is important to us.

“What the factory team do in WSB is obviously great but we go for our own targets, which are quite high.

“We expect to achieve our targets, that’s what we’re paid to do.”
