Thomas parks Ducati

Dean Thomas will race the Samsung Ducati in Superstock as well as his BSB Samsung Suzuki in the future after Jon Kirkham quit the team to race a Yamaha.

Thomas said: “Kirkham quit the team because he said the bike was unrideable but my first impression is that the engine’s good but the chassis needs changing – opposite to what most people are thinking.”

Thomas highsided on Friday at the Sears at Snetterton and decided to park the V-twin until he’s had more time to test it.

Rumours suggest Sean Emmett, a long-time mate of Smasung team boss Enzo Di Clementi, may test the bike.
