Old faithful to be pensioned off

Jentin Racing boss Bernie Toleman says the team are pensioning off the incredible 2004 R1 that Simon Andrews qualified ninth on at Snetterton and that James Ellision used to win the Privateer Cup title in 2004.

Toleman said: “We’re aiming to have the 2007 R1 that we’re developing with Rousch Engineering and Pectel for our next race.”

Andrews is hoping the bike is ready for the Mondello Park round on June 17.
