Kiyo fastest in morning warm up

HM Plant’s Ryuichi Kiyonari set the pace in this morning’s warm up session on a damp track at Oulton Park.

The Japanese rider set a best time of 1:45.876, completing eight laps around the Cheshire circuit.

Kiyonari’s teammate, Jonathan Rea, was the second fastest rider, recording a lap of 1:46.962 with Team NB’s Ollie Bridewell third at 1:48.621.

Pole man for today’s two races, Gregorio Lavilla, was down in 14th only managing a 1:53.937.
