Camier - elbow down

Leon Camier started the steep learning curve to superbike racing with his first ride on the 2007-spec Honda Racing Fireblade last week in Gaudix.

He spent every day methodically working through chassis and engine set-ups with his new crew chief Tom Larsen.

Camier’s also managed to delight us with this brilliant elbow-down shot whilst cornering.

He used the test to get some indication of how to ride a superbike, saying: “Kiyo runs into corners quicker, then turns it on the rear wheel to fire it out.

“I’m sure you can ride like that but that’s what I need to learn to do.”
