HM Plant Honda duo Kiyonari and Rae top Mondello Park times

The HM Plant Honda team of Ryuichi Kiyonari and Jonathan Rae posted the fastest two times in the third practice session for the Mondello Park round of British Superbikes.

The Honda duo took advantage of a track still drying, following non-stop rain on Friday. Leon Haslam went third quickest on the Airwaves Ducati, although team-mate Gregorio Lavilla could only manage 12th fastest. Leon Camier put his Honda into fourth place, ahead of Chris Walker on the Rizla Suzuki and Hudson Kennaugh on the Virgin Media Yamaha.

Karl Harris was seventh quickest, on the superbike team-mate Guy Martin rode at the Isle of Man TT from Rizla Suzuki’s Cal Crutchlow, NB Suzuki’s Ollie Bridewell, and Tom Sykes on the Stobart Honda. Shane Byrne decided to sit out the session.
