Jones fund hits £70K

The memorial fund for British 125 racer Chris Jones who died on Bank Holiday Monday back in August 2005 has hit the £70,000 mark.

And the parents of the teenage racer say more fund raising will continue throughout the coming new year.

The aim is to raise a total of £100,000 to purchase a mobile x-ray unit which can travel to British race meets to asses rider’s injuries immediately.
