Dakar 2018: Brits - Max Hunt

Former British and World Supersport rider Max Hunt made his Dakar debut in 2017 and finished an impressive 52nd place. His achievement is all the more remarkable as although he is clearly a very capable motorcycle racer he only started riding off road four years ago.

Hunt is no stranger to extreme events, in addition to his Supersport career his other past interests have included sky diving, base jumping and wing suit flying.

Hunt will ride for the same HT Rally Husqvarna Racing team onboard a factory replica FR 450RR Dakar bike. Unlike his fellow Brit Lyndon Poskitt who is racing in the Malle Moto class, Hunt will have a team around him to service the bike and offer him support. But that’s not to say his challenge will be even less as Hunt will be heading to Dakar with his wife, his parents along with new addition, Badger his three month old son.
