Who is your MCN Man of the Year?

The 2014 season delivered on all the pre-season hype….and some. Marc Marquez smashed the record books to smithereens to win 13 races in a season on his way to his second MotoGP crown while Valentino Rossi shoed he could win again with a stunning yearlong performance that saw him finish second overall.

Shane Byrne became the first rider in history to win four BSB titles while former champion Tom Sykes lost out on retaining the WSB trophy to Sylvain Guintoli in the final round of the season.

On the roads Michael Dunlop continued his domination at the TT to win four races in a week for BMW, while John McGuinness’s victories climbed to 21 and Bruce Anstey set a new course lap record.
