Win tickets to Race of the Year at Mallory Park

Tom Sykes is hoping to bow out in style in his final appearance for Rizla Suzuki at the Race of the Year at Mallory Park next weekend and you could be there to see it all happen as MCN has five pairs of tickets to give away.

The 23-year-old from Huddersfield has already signed to ride for Yamaha Italia in WSB next year, but is hoping to mark his final appearance on the GSX-R1000 by bungie a winning one.

Last year Cal Crutchlow took the honours in his final race for Rizla Suzuki before switching to HM Plant Honda for 2008 and now Sykes is hoping to repeat the team’s success at the Leicestershire circuit.

Joining Sykes on track will be British Supersport champion Glen Richards on a Triumph and fellow Triumph 675 Supersport contender Paul Young. Henderson R1 Cup and Superstock 1000 riders Ben Wilson and Richard Cooper will also be among the field along with British Supersport Kawasaki rider James Hillier, Kenny Gilbertson from Kawasaki’s National Superstock team, plus British Supersport Cup’s Rob Hoyles and British Superbike Cup rider Luke Quigley on a Suzuki.

Loris Capirossi’s MotoGP Suzuki GSV-R will be out on track to wow the crowds during the day while a Steve Parrish original RG Suzuki has also been lined up to make an appearance.
