Thank you Steve Plater

At the finish of the North West 200 I went to the paddock with my nine-year-old grandson to show him some of the race bikes and their riders.

I went to the Steve Plater team area and there was Steve Plater, an hour after racing, still signing autographs, having his photo taken with fans and with his bike.

My grandson got his autograph and I took a photo of them both. My grandson was delighted.

This was his first road race visit where Steve Plater won a race and I am quite sure an hour after the race he had more to do than sit at a table and sign autographs but he did with a smile and a warm greeting.

He made my grandsons day and I thank you Mr Plater., that was so very kind of you.
