MacPherson World Endurance comeback

Former BSB and World Supersport factory rider and Iain MacPherson was at the Croft R6 Cup launch yesterday (Wednesday, March 14, 2007).

He was acting as mentor to R6 Cup competitor 17-year-old Daniel Brill but says he’s also making a racing comeback himself after two years on the sidelines.

He said: “I’ve not raced since 2004 but it’s not like I’ve been sat around doing nothing.

“I’ve still been helping out at track days as an instructor and now I’ve got a chance to ride for Acropolis Yamaha alongside Christophe Cogan and Stephane Nebel in the Le Mans and Bol d’Or 24 hour races.”
