Manxman David Knight has announced today (Wednesday) he is will be racing all three rounds of the AMA/Maxxis National EnduroCross Series.

David Knight, known throughout the industry as one of the best off-road racers in the world, was the 2006 World Enduro Champion and is the current points leader in the GNCC series – the most prestigious off-road race series in America.

“The American EnduroCross has always been fun to race and better when
you win it,” explained Knight, the 2005 EnduroCross Champion.

“This new series sounds like a real challenge as it will be difficult to win all three – but that’s my goal. I would love to add the 2007 EnduroCross Championship to my list of accomplishments.”

The 2007 AMA/Maxxis National EnduroCross Series starts in Denver,
Colorado on September 29, 2007.

It then moves to Guthrie, Oklahoma on October 6, 2007 with the final round inside the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas on November 16-17. The three race series will boast a $40,000 total purse payout.

“We have been supporting the Maxxis EnduroCross series from the
beginning,” explained Kurt Nicoll, Director of Racing for KTM North
America.

“It’s great when you can showcase the talent of these riders in front of thousands of fans.

“This form of racing is not only exciting to watch but really allows the spectators to see first hand how skilled these athletes are.”
