The British Outdoor Supercross Championship heads to the new 500 metre track at the Norfolk Arena on the outskirts of King’s Lynn on Saturday (November 25).

This will be the opening round of the championship, which can boast two rounds each for youth and adults over four consecutive Saturdays.

This weekend will be a youth only event with BYMX Premier Champion Ashley Greedy looking to add to the titles he amassed in 2006.

He will be tested by a host of national and local challengers, including Snettisham residents, and cousins, Lewis Kerr and Juddy Penty taking part in their first Supercross event.

The youth championship caters for all classes from autos through to 125cc; while the adults have both MX1 and MX2 classes.

Jonathan Chapman, event manager said,” We are really looking forward to staging the British Outdoor Supercross Championship. After such a successful season with the King’s Lynn speedway team taking all three major trophies we are used to putting on top flight motorcycle sport events.

Qualifying will begin at 3.30pm on Saturday with races starting at 7pm.

The championship will continue until Saturday, December 16.
