Fantasy: Game month 2

The second Game Month of Fantasy Road Race 2006 came to a close with MotoGP action from China.

Dani Pedrosa took his first race win at the Shanghai circuit to score himself 25 Road Race points. Pedrosa began the weekend well by taking Pole and five Road Race points, but actually started the race slowly.

The Spaniard recovered though to cross the line in first place, followed by Nicky Hayden and Colin Edwards, who scored themselves 20 and 16 Road Race points respectively.

Valentino Rossi had a hugely disappointing weekend. After a poor qualifying session, the Italian was making his way up the field, before tyre problems brought a premature end to his race.

The end of Game Month 2 sees Tom Randow at the top of the overall standings, while Aaron Brewer’s 316 points was enough to take the monthly accolade, two points ahead of Steve Girling
