Suzuki test at Snetterton

Shane Byrne and James Haydon completed almost 200 laps in a private test at the Snetterton track in Norfolk on Monday, March 6, 2006.

The Rizla Suzuki team-mates completed over 90 laps each on the latest GSX-R1000 K6, lapping within a tenth of a second of each other. They’ll test again at Mallory Park on March 14, 2006.

“Since the test finished, I’ve been sitting in my car with the heater and heated seats working overtime,” said Byrne. “It was very cold on track but that didn’t prevent us doing a lot of laps. I think we went as fast as we could given the conditions. Chances are we’ll be racing in cool conditions at some stage this season, and today will stand us in good stead when that happens.”
