Kiyo on top at Snetterton

Ryuichi Kiyonari has posted the fastest lap at the end of the first day’s practice for the Snetterton round of the British Superbike championship.

Kiyonari finished the afternoon session just 0.096 seconds ahead of Leon Haslam, who was the fastest rider in the morning practice session.

The third fastest lap went to Haslam’s team-mate Gregorio Lavilla followed by the Hondas of Jonathan Rea and Karl Harris.

Tommy Hill was the top placed Yamaha in sixth followed by the Stobart Hondas of Michael Laverty and Michael Rutter.
