Emmett gets BSS ride

Sean Emmett will ride in the British Supersport championship at Knockhill on July 16, 2006, following two days testing for the Lloyds British Ducati team.

He’ll ride alongside Martin Jessopp on the Ducati 749Rs, as a replacement for Stuart Easton, who left the team to race in the World Supersport series for NCR. Despite a few technical problems, Emmett was able to improve lap times and confidence in the bike during the croft test, to the point where he believes he can challenge for the podium

Following the Knockhill round, Emmett is likely to become a permanent rider for the Lloyds team until the end of the season.
