As he was unable to attend the recent ACU Awards evening, the presentation took place at the Castle Combe track inspection for their proposed World championship round on June 10-11, 2006. Fellow champions Max Deubel and Mick Boddice were at the presentation, along with ACU chairman Jim Parker.
