Brit MXGP date moved

The motocross British Grand Prix has been moved a week later to June 17-18. It is round eight of the 2006 FIM Motocross World Championship.

The British Grand Prix has attracted crowds of over 30,000 fans in the last two years and the June fixture is set to take place at a brand new circuit called Matterley Basin just outside Winchester. Construction of the track, designed by Johnny Douglas Hamilton, will begin in April.
