Stewart with AMA MX win

James Stewart took the win at round eight of the AMA Motocross championship, but Ricky Carmichael continued to extend his championship lead.

Stewart took victory for Kawasaki at Washougal MX Park, but is down in sixth place in the title race on 211 points. With Carmichael finishing second and closest rival Chad Reed (Yamaha) in third, the title lead grew to 76 points.
