Sword rules Brit MX1

1 of 1

Stephen Sword dominated the second round of the British Motocross Championship on Sunday, April 9, 2006, with two wins in the MX1 class.

The 26-year-old Kawasaki rider twice finished ahead of Honda riders Ken De Dycker and James Noble, despite a midweek practice crash. It’s De Dycker that now leads the series, however, with Josh Coppins missing the round due to injury.

In the MX2 class Carl Nunn and Bill McKenzie shared the race wins. Nunn took race one from Tommy Searle, but the second race went to Mckenzie with Nunn second.
