Owens out of hospital

British Supersport rider Sam Owens has been discharged from hospital following injuries sustained at Cadwell Park on Bank Holiday Monday.

He broke his right leg and that has been successfully pinned.

His Team, Premier, says he’s determined to be racing again as soon as possible – and “mad as hell” about missing Oulton Park

“Sam and Team Premier would like to thank all spectators, fellow competitors and race officials who have shown concern and offered support during Sam’s initial time in hospital. Rest, rehabilitation and physio are now the order of the day,” said a spokesman.
