1000+ at Britton funeral

The funeral of Richard Britton was held on Wednesday (Sep 21) with over a thousand mourners in attendance.

Roads racer Britton died as a result of a crash during a race on Sunday (see link, right). He was 34.

The funeral was held in Eniskillen and brought the town to a standstill.

A convoy of bikes led the coffin on the mile journey from Britton’s home in Kilmacormick to a Requiem Mass at St Michael’s Church.
