Moto1 this weekend

Dunlop Moto1 takes place on October 15/16th at Mallory Park, with top stars from all motorcycle discplines competing in five events to decide the overall winner.

World Superbike stars Chris Walker and Pier-Francesco Chili are among the competitors tackling trials, supermoto, motocross, road-racing and a new MotoPentathlon special event.

They’ll be up against circuit racers Karl Harris, Craig Jones and Stuart Easton, Supermoto stars Chris Iddon, Leighton Haigh and Matt Winstanley, and off-roader David Knight who took the Moto1 title in 2004. Not forgeting Trials ace Steve Colley and a host of others.

Manufacturers supporting the event are Honda, Yamaha, KTM and Kawasaki, and the event will also be shown on the Men and Motors TV channel on Wednesday November 2, 2005.

There are also other attractions, including the Race of the Year and a supporting road race programme. Moto1 will run from 9am-4.30pm on both days.
