Rutter signs for Stobart

Michael Rutter will ride a Honda Fireblade in the 2006 British Superbike championship, but it will be for Stobart motorsport rather than his former employers at HM Plant.

The 32-year-old will ride alongside Michael Laverty, and will also compete in the International North West 200 and 2006 Macau Grand Prix.

Rutter is a double BSB runner-up, with 25 wins to his name. He is also an 11-time North West 200 winner, one-time TT winner and five-time Macau GP winner.
