Ryuichi Kiyonari and Gregorio Lavilla took wins in wet conditions at the Croft round of the British Superbike championship.

Kiyonari’s Honda team-mate and current championship leader Michael Rutter lead for most of the first race but a mistake let the Japanese rider slip through leaving no room for Rutter to retake the lead.

The second race started on the same form with Kiyonari leading Rutter but a restart after red flags saw Ducati rider Gregorio Lavilla jump from fifth to first. Rutter eventually managed to pass Kiyonari to take second place again and lose only one point to Lavilla in the championship.

In his first round back from injury John Reynolds fell in the first race and took 12th in the second.
