Stars are signing up for the Caste Combe Superbike Grand National event on July 30/31, which sees riders compete for a £20,000 prize fund.

Heading the list is British Superbike championship contender Michael Rutter on the factory-backed HM Plant Honda Fireblade. He’ll be joined by fellow Honda riders Karl Harris and Jonathan Rea.

Also racing will be Virgin Mobile Samsung Yamaha rider sean Emmett, along with Tommy Hill and Richard Wren. James Haydon will race for Rizla Suzuki alongside William Dunlop, who will make his superbike debut at the event.

Other names include John McGuinness, Luke Quigley, Kieran Clarke, Steve Brogan, Dean Ellison, Alistair Fagan, and possibly Steve Plater.

The top six finishers in the Superbike race take home a total of £7000, with prizes for teams not directly supported by a manufacturer and privateers. In addition to the two Superbike races, there is a supporting programme including sidecars, and New Era Club 125, 250, Sound of Thunder and Superstock races.
