Hondas head Snetterton

The HM Plant team have topped the second practice session for the British Superbike round at Snetterton on Sunday, July 10, with Ryuichi Kiyonari just pipping Michael Rutter to the fastest time.

Kiyonari completed 31 laps en route to a best time of 1:05.696, and despite two more laps in the session, Rutter’s best was 1:05.815. Leon Haslam is third quickest on the Airwaves Ducati with 1:06.103, followed by Tommy Hill on the Virgin Movile Yamaha on 1:06.531.

James Haydon is fith quickest, with team-mate and reigning champion John Reynolds improving on his performance in the first session to finish seventh quickest, just behind Dean Thomas. Scott Smart made a fantastic improvement to finish the session eighth quickest on the Vivaldi Kawasaki, with Gary Mason and Gregorio Lavilla rounding out the top ten.

In the British Supersport class, the second practice session has ended with Stuart Easton quickest on the Riders-JHP Ducati on a time of 1:08.367, ahead of Craig Jones 1:08.631.
