£27K for Tsunami victims

The governing body of international bikesport – The FIM – has donated just over £27,000 to the victims of the southern Asia tsunami.

FIM President Francesco Zerbi says the 60,000 Swiss Francs donation is on behalf of the FIM’s affiliates and the ‘worldwide motorcycling community’.

He says the gesture shows solidarity with the victims in a way which would make a real difference.
