Motard round cancelled

The third round of the Maxxis Motard Master series has been cancelled due to a shortfall on entries.

The racing, which was due to take place at the Lydd circuit in Kent, saw a shortfall of over 70 entries at the closing date. Riders who had already entered will now receive a full refuncd from organisers AMCA.

“We have no idea why we had such a poor response” said organiser Tony Brock. “The first two rounds were well received and why we suddenly have no interest is beyond us. Although the weather is a little unpredictable, the truly awful conditions at round two didn’t deter anyone. Unfortunately, the unique ‘tournament style’ event format simply doesn’t work with so few riders.”
